I could not get the rebate links to work. Anyone have a working link to the rebate form?

Thanks.

Sweetness! I just grabbed one using a $40 off $200 coupon. Too bad the $30 off $130 isn't still working. I needed a non-Trinitron monitor since the power lines near my new apartment are screwing with my KDS AV-195TF :( Hopefully this monitor won't be affected. No one else in my building has a Trinitron monitor or my problem.

Cybordolphin - The link on the product info page worked for me just now!

I tried to fill in rebate form online, using the $100 MIR for FE950. It went thru with the SKU number for MS95 (do they validate sku number there?), and I have the rebate form printed.

Any one elas can confirm if this is real -- you can use FE950 MIR form for MS95?

When you call, you may have to ask for CSR or manager's name or ID for your record, in case they won't honor the rebate, you have something in your hand.

I got this monitor a couple of weeks ago on the other hot deal with the two $30 off coupons that you could stack (which are expired now)
I have it running at 1280x1024 horz 91khz vert 85hz. It is nice and sharp with a bright white background. Colors looks good. Although I will say, it is not quite as good as my Sony Trinitron. lol, but then again it wasn't even half the cost. It is definitely a higher quality monitor than most, but not a perfectly flat screen like some of the newer models.

Got my monitor today and it's a Packard-Bellish monitor and will go up to 1600x1200 @75Hz, but not as crisp as my IBM P200 21 inch.

Well for $185 (if I can get the $100 MIR) it's an OK deal, I am a little concerned about the short warranty (1 year vs 3 years for other NEC models), and 90 day labor, all remind me it coudl well be manufactored by former PB facility.

The error regarding the $100 rebate for the NEC MS95 has since been removed. The $100 rebate presumably was only meant for the NEC FE950 and the NEC FE700. And although there is a listed $100 rebate for a NEC FE950+, that also appears to be a typo as a search does not find that "plus" monitor at Staples. The $100 rebate appeared in the Staples weekly Sunday (Feb 4th) newspaper insert advertisement in Los Angeles, and assuming it was a national ad, the rebate is effective nationally at your local B&M until Saturday, Feb, 10. A $50 rebate for the NEC 950 is effective until April Fool's Day.

The online rebate form states that this "Offer not valid with any other rebates, offers or promotions." This suggests that any of the various $30 and $40 off coupons may not applied -- if they want to be strict about it.

In my case, I showed the clerk an instore copy of their ad and also asked them to apply a $30 coupon number (which I can reuse until it expires May 15). They asked where I got the coupon number and I replied on the back of a catalog just like this, as I held up one of their instore catalogs. They couldn't find the $100 rebate form and so credited me the $130 on the spot before calculating the sales tax.

Now I can't imagine going back to a 17" monitor just as I imagine that as soon as I get broadband, I'll wonder why didn't I do this before?!

I'd wouldn't risk a $100 MIR w/ staples. Their rebate processing center in Coppell, TX (which a lot of companies use) is crappy.

Well, duh $100 is alot of money. Make sure you make photocopies of everything and consider sending it insured, certified or even registered mail. I've never had a bad experience with rebates. Although I really hate the wait.

I got in on this deal and I am not crazy about trying the Rebate route either. I should have asked when I picked it up to have the rebate applied immediatley.

Did anyone get the actual name a of a CSR who said the 950 rebates form would be OK?

I think this monitor also has a 1 year Parts and labor warranty too not the 90 days Staples mentioned.

Check out NEC Monitor Use the Select a Product dropdown box to find MultiSync 95

My rebate was rejected yesterday because the UPC from the box was not from the FE950. This was after I emailed the rebate center explaining my situation and they told me to use the form for the FE950! I'm seriously ticked. I told them they have 7 days to send my check out or I will dispute $100 of what Staples charged to my CC. Bastards.
