heh, DVD burners are becoming the same price as CDRWs

These are so much better than CDRW. a CDRW is really a combo CD and CD burner drive. The DVD burners are: CD drive, CD burner, DVD drive, DVD burner. So you get four drives in one. The drives that are really unneeded in cost are the combo CDRW/DVD drives. These might be economical for notebook computers, but for desktop computers, these are too expensive and limited.

upgrade the firmware on these babies and they really shine. The stock firmware sacrifices speed for quality which is fine but feels like a ripoff since it rarely hits its advertised speeds unless you are using the most expensive media.
