Neat Windows trick

Just found this out by accident, some of you might know this already.

Open windows explrer and find some folder you want, now drag the little folder icon to the edge of the screen. Now you have a new toolbar with the contents of the folder there. You can also add your favorites and other stuff to that toolbar.

Hmm.. nice, but I can't recommend doing this if you've over 1200 items in a folder :D:p

You should put your pR0n on CDs instead of keeping it on the hard drive.

does this work in win2k? its not working for me

can i not do it if the explorer screen is maxamized?

Rightclick on the toolbar > toolbars > deselect the toolbar with the name of the folder you just dragged to it :)

It works in Win2k. You can drag the folder to the taskbar as well and drop it there. Works fine.

This is a feature of ActiveDesktop/QuickLaunch (remember, Win98 had this built in). It's been around since IE4. It's gotten progressly better with IE5/Win2K/WinME.
