Your little asian comments are racist, anti-Semitic and very insulting to a large demographic, mostly Asian-Americans. The mods should deal with you soon. I know your trying to be funny, be this is not the place for it.

Trying to be more insulting than the OP?

Also, if you want to charge your iphone super fast, put it in the mircrowave and run it on high power. It will be charged in under 5 minutes flat.

rice is a good way to dry it but if it was turned on like they usually are, it won't work, unless you were lucky.

But...if you put the wet phone in a bag of rice...and leave the phone turned on...won't the radiation just cook the rice? :p

It happens to the best of us. You drop your phone in the toilet, or you spill something on your keyboard. Put it in a bag, fill it with rice shake it, and let the bag slightly open (you don't want it air tight) and leave it out overnight.

The rice will attract a little asian that will quietly come fix it for you while you sleep.

Not sure how much you'd have to leave for a tip though. 10.7% of the item's suggested retail price times 0.924% per year old it is?

I agree. Red Squirrel, only 10.7%?!?! As an Asian-American, I'm highly insulted by such a low number. Gotta be at least 20%.

Well, if I replace keywords in a similar joke with say: orange drank, fried chicken, and huge African. It shouldn't be taboo and everyone would be okay with the newly created thread right? I highly doubt it buddy.

But then again it probably is going to be okay since a mod participated.

Comedy enjoys a lot of leeway in society. The powers that be are, for the most part, free to run this site how they see fit. It's not so much a matter of right or wrong, but of personal taste. The thread lives. If enough readers are so offended they leave, the site withers. Takes care of itself that way.

I trust myself enough to recognize the spirit behind a joke.

People are often quick to pull the racist card, I think there is nothing wrong with having a little fun with stereotypes. No harm is intended. It's like when people refer to Canadians as living in igloos and stuff, it's all fun and games.

I know someone from India who is pretty funny with that stuff, he called me up once saying he was going into one of our offices (I work at the NOC and we have to know when someone goes into a building off hours). He's like "don't worry it's just me, don't call the cops. Would be bad if the cops show up and they see a brown dude in here!". Thought that was pretty funny.

I don't know why it's okay to make racist jokes on Asians but not any other race. This forum is weird huh
Don't worry too much about it. Busting on Christians is a favorite past time but do not, do not bust on Muslims.

And this.
