Tailgating is not getting the attention it should. It is dangerous aggressive and reckless. People die because of it.

unrelated to the video, I have a great solution to tailgaters. My car has 'rear fog lights'. I just turn them on when someone is too close. They think I hit my breaks and back off.

Brake checking for me is usually tapping the brakes enough to get the brake lights to come on, not actually slowing down. Thats usually enough to tell someone to back off.

If tailgating bothers you why wouldn't you do the quickest and easiest solution, which is to get in the other lane and let them pass?

Brake checking that causes an accident means you could be liable for the cost of their accident on top of higher premiums for all, so thank you for being selfish.
