Yep, repost.. but don't lock it. This deserves as much attention as it can get.

If this turns out the way they say it will, it's going to change the world.

The process works. They know that much. They've had their "test" plant for a few years now. They've just completed a full scale plant that will produce quite a bit of materials a day.

It is very exciting. Could be the next thing to really drive the economy, kinda like computers did.

Sorry, but repost.

That being said, the first production scale plant is supposed to be on-line any day now. It will process turkey bi-products. If ConAgra invested in the process, then trust me, it is both plausible and profitable. Companies don't invest in full scale processes unless they know that the process will make money. That plant they put in probably has at least a 20 year life cycle, possibly longer. They made sure that the plant would be economical over its life.

It isn't really a question of if this process will catch on, it is a matter of time before these facilities pop up all over to replace incineration facilities.

I wonder if/what the oil companies may do to try and stop them, or if they'll work on developing their own facilities like this? And what about countries that make all of their money off of oil, I wonder what their reaction is. very interesting questions.
