There have been lots of patches for this game. Did you try patching it?

Probably all you needed

Wow... I am surprised all of ya'll are just piling on.

Anyway, the game is almost a year old, and the OP just now found out that a Geforce 4 won't work? Also the fact that he didn't adhere to the requirements, it is easy to understand that he is a CS geek ;).

I've actually had the same crashing problem as the OP, but I'm running a 256mb 6800gt. I just reinstalled the game and all of its patches and the game worked fine. It is true that BF2 isn't the most stable game, but the OP only has the right to bitch if his system actually met the minimum requirements.

And then people wonder why piracy of any kind is so rampant. Just the pure BS people have to go through when something happens with a legal copy. Things like this have happened a few times and because of this I will never purchase *ANY* peice of software: Os/App/Game or otherwise.
you are an idiot, read his post through again.
but regardless of the OP. you are still an idiot.

blow me.

:disgust: way to admit to piracy

What a tool. Things like this are not why you will never purchase *ANY* piece of software legally. You don't purchase software legally because you don't want to spend money on it, and it's easy for you to get illegally.

So you think he should be afraid of the RIAA/MPAA/FBI reading this thread and coming after him? Or do you think he should care, that on a message board somewhere, people see the name 'envy' and know he is a software pirate?

Not that I should really defend envy or his nonsensical posts quoted above, but I seriously don't understand why people like you - think that people like him actually care what people like you think of him or his illegal activities. Or is it the former question I asked above, in that you have some naive and paranoid thought in your head that the RIAA/MPAA/FBI or anybody else would actually do something in regards to envy's posts? Even if a single one of those org's had the manpower and logistics covered with weeding out posts like envy's, and somehow were able to track him down - they couldn't do a damn thing once they did.
