I have a Sapphire Radeon GTO2 that I modded to 16 pipelines. What card in the ATI family is the nearest good upgrade without going for bleeding edge and spending a fortune? Thanks.
 
How much are you willing to spend? Also, what are your PCs specs? AGP or PCIe? Give us some info, or we won't be able to answer.
 
pci-express, about to upgrade to a new cpu and motherboard but right now I am on a socket 754 A64 3700+ with 2gb of ram. As for spending limit I won't set a max, but the cheaper the better at this point.
 
Well, ATi really is better right now. Nvidia's current cards are good cards; don't get me wrong, it's just that for the price/quality/performance, ATi is the better deal.
I would get an X1900XT, but I can't use dual slot cooling...
