not that it mattered in the end, but why did stupid tom brady call a timeout with 9 seconds left? why didn't he just wait till the clock hits 2 so they dont even give the panthers a chance to return a kick?

what'd the kicker do?? I missed it..

He kicked it out of bounds on the kickoff, which results in the other team getting the ball on their own 40. Its the worst mistake a place kicker can make. Its beyond a boneheaded mistake.

Uh, incase the snap was botched on the field goal. It was 1st down if you recall correctly.

the decision was stupid. if carolina returned the kick for a td it would have been his fault. just because there weren't bad consequences doesn't make it a good choice. are you able to comprehend that?

Great game. Hate to see the Pats win but they deserved it. I do think Fox blew it though going for the 2 point conversion when the game was 21 - 16. I know it was justified thinking about going for the 2 points but when they called the play, I was thinking that I'd rather just have the extra point; there was still way too much time on the clock. That game winning field goal by NE would have just been a game tying kick to send the game into overtime.
