i used to have a HPI mini nitro star civic.... it was fun for while.... i dunno what happened to it...

it was really fun to have my friend drive his car and me inside to passenger seat to drive the RC car in front of us on the streets.... lol that thing went at least 50mph

Had a HPI Nitro Mini Civic too. I do feel the nitros are more fun then electrics. The sound and the fact you can pretty much drive continuously.

Right now it is sitting at my mom's house. Had a few other too (HPI RS4 Rally, and an old Kyosho Lazer). Had fun at the time, but it seems like everytime I look back, it feel like such a waste of money.

Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec. Not exactly top of the line but it was and still is a good deal. Faster then sh*t with the two-speed, but the stock shocks leak like a sieve, so those need replacin'.
