I got really bored so I started watching NCIS...

It's TERRIBLE, cheap corny acting, blatant copy of CSI or the plethora of other forensic science shows but easily the worst.

Definately not going to be watching that again.

IMHO, which I'm sure will be beaten down by all the CSI fanbois.....

CSI is a bunch of flash & glitter. Flash! Look at how we can take this carpet fiber, and match it up to the carpet in the suspect's house! Flash! We can use this cool uv light to spot blood stains, even though they've been scrubbed off the concrete floor with a flame thrower!! Flash! Our stories are lame and old, but we hope that if we show you enough ubercool techno stuff that you'll love the show anyways!!

In all honesty, I'm sure that ncis was brought about as a csi killer. But the big difference I've found is that the characters in ncis are (to me) a bit more fun to watch, and while they show the same sort of forensic technology that's showcased on csi, they don't push it in your face like csi does. I watched csi a couple times, and that's all I got from it......how they can showcase the technology, and bring you a story as a secondary part of the show. NCIS brings the story, and only gives you the pertinent technology.

Oh yeah, and losing Kate was a bummer, the jury's still out on Ziva (imo), but having Lauren Holly on the show is a plus. As long as they keep their writing fresh, this show could stay on the air as long as JAG did (which it was spun off from). Oh yeah, and Pauly Perette as Abby the lab geek is totally HOT!! ;)

You insult people who like CSI and the show, then no doubt you'll act all hurt when someone disagrees with you...what's the difference between a CSI fanboi and a NCIS fanboy other than the show they like?

For the record i find MOST of the CSI stories pretty entertaining, it makes no apologies for being as far fetched and in your face as it is...and i'd say it was pretty much the best shot and looking show out there at the moment.

NCIS isn;t as good now that Kate left and hey brought Lauren Holly on, but it's still better than that over-hyped far-fetched CSI crap

I'm not a CSI fan boy, I do watch it alot though.

So okay yes maybe some of the stories are pushing it, but that aside.

The acting is good, the filming is good.. NCIS is composed of cheap ****** actors who honestly sound incredibly corny and extremely lame.

Ahhhh NCIS.....the bastardized love child of a drunken night between CSI and JAG.
