Got a pick a team to root for tonight, and rooting for Nova as well.

Oh btw I do have Nova in the championship game in my bracket, but I had them lose close to UVA in game in the 60s.

Did anyone try watching this? For some inane reason TBS had a North Carolina broadcast team who were homering every call. It was worse than listening to a soccer mom doing play by play for her kids team. I had to turn it off after two minutes. I didn't have a dog in the fight and still wound up rooting for Villanova.

I was watching the trutv feed and the color commentator went absolutely nuts when it went in lol.

They had the neutral feed and then a Homer feed for each team. I watched the Nova stream.

For some inane reason it was on cable and not broadcast. If it were on over the air I'd have watched. Since it wasn't I didn't.

You must be mistaken. TBS has the neutral broadcast. TNT has the Carolina homer broadcast, TruTV has the Villanova homer broadcast.

I'm using sling and was stuck on that misery for the first half until I realized there were two streams, a north carolina stream and a national stream. The north carolina stream might have been on tnt and the national stream tbs. But yeah, I was like wtf, these are the worst announcers I've ever heard for a national game!

Dang, you're right. I reflexively tried CBS and it wasn't on there. Went scrolling through the other channels and got to TNT first, thought that was the only channel it was on. Totally unwatchable, wish I had kept clicking forward.

Great finish, refs seemed to be giving Nova a lot of calls when I was watching.
Villanova got some real stupid calls in the first half, and still the benefit of the doubt at the beginning of the second. Its hard to imagine this crew was the best the ncaa had to offer.

Marcus Paige's shot will go down as one of the greatest that no one will remember.

I can't handle these east coast sports times. 9 pm start? fuck that noise. I was napping by then.

At least the Evil Empire lost. Now lets hope a real ban comes along soon. Any day now....

Yeah. Eastern Time zone BLOWS for sports. Evening games are basically unwatchable for me since I have to get up so damn early.
