(NCAA hoops) #1 WakeForest is getting pwned, HARD!

I think the ACC may be a bit overrated this year. Granted it's a hell of a group, but I truly don't believe they're all THAT good. And unfortunately, last nights game proved what I had suspeceted, that Maryland definitely didn't deserve their ranking.

Duke, NC State, and Georgia Tech are holding it down just fine. The GT/Mich game wasn't even a game, the Duke/MichSt game was very good.

Dont forget UNC

we'll be back. When a team is perfect on free throws (over 30) and you get into foul trouble early, it's kinda hard to win

that perfection from free throws had to be some kind of record, no?

Indeed. It was an ACC record and only 2 shy of the NCAA record. link to article

We're a different Wake team than the one who played in Champaign.

And the 32 free-throws didn't matter that much. The final score was 95-82. When we had 85 points, the free-throw totals were Wake 22-22 and UNC 21-26. After that, UNC had to foul to get back in the game and we just stayed steady.

Oh, our leading scorer was in foul trouble early, too.
