I tried watching a game on ncaa.com the other night. Let me just say they have a LONG, LONG, LONG way to go to achieve any kind of watchable sports event on the Internet. The video was so-so, but the audio was just terrible. It lagged at times and sometimes the audio was like in slow motion, and then there were these noise spikes that would rupture your eardrums. I wanted to watch on the Internet so I didn't have to watch CBS switching from game to game like they do. BTW I have a 6mbs connection so it wasn't a bandwidth problem on my end.
Watch on CBSSports.com.
Ummm yeah cbssports.com redirects all streaming to mmod.ncaa.com
That being said, I watched pretty much all day on Thursday and Friday from mmod.ncaa.com and had no issues at all with streaming it.
Edit: wait, that's a lie. I had to lower the res on 1 game due to buffering issues.
Yep, exact same experience, including the edit.
I'm amazed at how good the high quality feed is and I have not had any syncing issues.
Since I'm stuck at work, this is the only way for me to watch most of the games and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed.
