NCAA 08 on Xbox..

If it is anything like last year's the reverse will be true (if my memory is correct). We didn't have everything on the 360 that we could get on the xbox.

i think it switches this year, more in the next gen versions. I'll be getting it tomorrow.

Let us know how it plays. I've bought this game for more years in a row than I care to admit. After last year's version I decided to skip this year unless I can be convinced otherwise.

Look at the previews of it ign, first at the Xbox version and than the 360 version

I was just hoping someone else could confirm something different

And you're right. "Next gen" is a better game than current gen for the first time. I don't know all the details, but this interview is with the producer talking all about it. The gist is that they focus on beginners with the ps2 and xbox versions, and they see those with a 360 and ps3 as "hardcore" gamers.

Edit: Sorry, that's for madden, not ncaa. I suspect some of that will still hold true though.
 
I understand their desire... but I wish they could have made the Dynasty modes the same. They could have cut other features out like Campus Legend and I would have been happy...

Alternate uniforms didnt make it in the next gen version.
No ability to change camera view in next gen version.
No ability to simply coach,(hitting the hike button and letting your guys do the work) in the next gen version.
No coop mode on the next gen version.

Makes you wonder wtf they have been doing for the past year.
I also think performance on the 360 was lackluster at best. Often it would only show parts of the replay and felt very laggy.

I ended up getting it for my PS2 instead and like that version much better than the 360 version.
 
i have the xbox 1 version and im not dissapointed with it. Not so many new features but i guess i am one of the few that actually like campus legend play.
 
they haven't done anything at all. well, besides putting in campus legend mode, tweaking & adding to dynasty mode, making the game run at 60 fps as opposed to 30 fps like last year, more animations/better animations with more frames, gang tackling, and however many other things.

on the ps3 version (not sure about the others), they've taken out cpu v cpu mode. it's a step back, imo, because i enjoyed occasionally watching a simulated game while working on other stuff at home.
 
i checked the content on my xbox disk and its only 2.7gb in size.. so the devs havent even used the entire disk size for game content on xbox 1. Why would they not add additional features into the xbox 1 game seeing there is plenty more space on the disk for content? Seems they just barely want to support old gen and thats it.
