Children barely have an idea of gender. It's parents, that are exposing their ideas on gender neutral children that become an issue.
Special kids should be taken into the Psychological, and possibly criminal court.

https://www.healthychildren.org/Eng...dentity-and-Gender-Confusion-In-Children.aspxAround two-years-old, children become conscious of the physical differences between boys and girls. Before their third birthday, most children are easily able to label themselves as either a boy or a girl. By age four, most children have a stable sense of their gender identity. During this same time of life, children learn gender role behavior—that is, doing "things that boys do" or "things that girls do."
Before the age of three, children can differentiate toys typically used by boys or girls and begin to play with children of their own gender in activities identified with that gender. For example, a girl may gravitate toward dolls and playing house. By contrast, a boy may play games that are more active and enjoy toy soldiers, blocks, and toy trucks.
A psychologist?Adults that can try to understand why the child is sexualized.

Children give no import to Gender, and when they do, it is likely as a result of an adult's influence.

To all the "gender is fluid" crowd. Is it child abuse to treat your biologically male baby as a boy?
I think it is a valid question.Lame attempt at a strawman.
With that case, I would side with the transitioned child. However, the latest school case involved no transitioning, merely a boy in a dress who demanded access to the girl's bathrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms. The "other" girls found this disturbing, proving of course that they are all horrible bigots. From what I've seen is this started to become an issue in 2014 when a California middle school was sued by a student because they were made to use the nurse's office bathroom instead of either male or female bathrooms.
There are other stories sprinkled around. So, legislators started talking about revisiting the laws. Then we got kick back from the right. It is sad we even have to have laws about this in the first place, but obviously we do since schools are denying children the right to use the bathroom of their gender.
"Bankers & Stockbrokers are mostly criminal thieves?" Sadly, today that barely registers on the crazy shit scale. And the media ARE the Fourth Estate.I am neither a minority or gay but I have always treated everyone the same so all the brouhaha in 60's 70's 80's 90' aughts, and teens while necessary never was as important to me. It was just a matter of the rest of ya'll catching up. The current fixation on Gender Identities seems to affect such a small portion of population that I am shocked that it crowds larger issues off the front page.
Bankers & Stockbrokers are mostly criminal thieves. Politicians are only concerned with reelection and empty rhetoric. Teachers aren't given tools to succeed. Cops feel and act like Occupying Force. The media has usurped The Fourth Estate. There is very little reporting and allot of opinions. The Balkanization of the American ideal has broken down co-operation.
Everyone leads off with their deal breaker so there is never a deal. Lines in the sand are drawn at introduction. We used to do the things we agreed on and put off the things we didn't until compromise could be ironed out. That is what Congress used to do. Presidents had concepts, Congress had reality, Senate was philosophical and used to slow down the other 2.
How do we get back home again? There is no where else on Earth that I would rather live but I fear that the rainbows and unicorns (perfect society) is only in my head.
I think it is a valid question.
Like what?No it's a lame attempt at a strawman. That you think it is a valid question says much about you.
Like what?
No problem.I am not answering you until you answer the questions you have been asked in this thread.
Is this a desperation move by politicians to distract us from issues that actually matter?
Jesus, people are assholes. If you don't feel comfortable using the urinal, use a stall.
You have sex in bathrooms often? How did the Dumbo-crats go from saying keep the government out of the bedroom to inviting the government into our bathrooms?
Your confusion is because you have misunderstood the situation. The state governments are trying to get into the bathrooms (under the pretense of protecting us from the trans people), and the feds have advised them to stay out.How did the Dumbo-crats go from saying keep the government out of the bedroom to inviting the government into our bathrooms?
Missed a step, dude. First the city governments and high school advocates decided that gender is something that one arbitrarily decides just before selecting a restroom, locker room or changing room. Keep in mind, that is all the feds have done at this point. The states involved are seeking legislation which the feds have advised them is likely against the civil rights act. Which is why the states' suit here lack standing. The complaint they are seeking to present to the courts hasn't actually happened yet (there's no real life case), and the suit will be dismissed.
Arbitrary is not the word that I would use when discussing people using the restroom that aligns most closely with their outward appearance. Do we really want that dude that looks like a lady using the men's? Or vice versa? IMO a bearded bull *** using the women's is far more likely to cause public disruption than if they just used the men's. And vice versa.Missed a step, dude. You're absolutely right. Unfortunately governments are manufacturing "rights" for people to use the bathroom of their choosing. How do you tell a guy using the women's bathroom to leave and use the men's? Maybe he identifies with being a woman. No laws about this would be best.Arbitrary is not the word that I would use when discussing people using the restroom that aligns most closely with their outward appearance.
