I hope that a lot of states tell Obama to shove his blackmail money up his ass, like Texas is doing.

Obama in his infinite wisdom is going to withhold money that provides poor students with food in order to allow a disturbed person the "right" to use the bathroom of the opposite sex.

What a piece of shit.

So you're prepared to go through a few years of medical procedures like using hormone supplements along with the constant psychological assessments in order to do so? Dress and live like a woman for a year or two as you prepare? Good for you. I understand that it's not an easy process to deal with. Good luck. You'll need it. There are a lot of bigots out there.
Why do you think any of that is necessary?

I'd try to explain to you the situation and unspin the spin you have wrapped yourself in but why bother? stupid is going to stay stupid.

referring to transgendered people as disturbed persons says so much about you

Except under the left's new laws, that is no longer necessary. One can simply decide one is trans and as of that instant, gains full access to the restrooms AND changing rooms of that sex, and anyone who is uncomfortable with that is labeled a bigot.

Its funny that in the show M*A*S*H* Klinger acted like a woman to try and prove he's crazy. In our society now, you're crazy for thinking Klinger needs to use the men's restroom.

lol True.

Than you for posting that. Clear and concise.
Agreed, except for one thing: its insistence that a man who has been surgically altered into the semblance of a woman is still a man. While that is absolutely true on a genetic level, it is not true on any macro level. Should I have the right to my neighbor's DNA to establish her true identity? I think not. As long as he or she is consistent and polite, a person should have the right to set his or her own identity. I only disagree with the left in its insistence on zero committment.

He didn't mention trans people, you did. But if he did, trans people commit way more suicides than the general population, something is wrong here.

Perhaps society's treatment of transgendered people has something to do with that. Think on that buck. Your opinions have an affect on the suicide rates of others. Please take a moment to reflect on that.

This is where the ideological battle has staked its flag. Not letting someone who is at peace with who they are use the bathroom that aligns with their identity. If you are against this then you are on the wrong side of history. It is very clear, you will either be embarrassed in 10-20 years or you will hate the society that has left you behind. Who singled out this issue? Why is it even an issue? Who cares? This issue was manufactured to create an even more divisive society and it is sad.

Perhaps and perhaps they would still kill themselves at a disproportionate rate if everybody thought it was great. Reflect on that.

The left has surely manufactured a mess, I agree.

Don't you get it? It isn't about trans people peeing. It is about the "solution" being dangerous and stupid.

This issue was created by liberal do gooders passing an idiotic law in Charlotte that allowed men into women's restrooms. Doesn't matter if they are trans or not.

Our objections have nothing to do with trans people!

I have and I find the suggestion to be despicable. What I think about somebody doesn't make a sane person commit suicide.

You think being ostracized by society doesn't affect someone's self esteem and propensity for suicide? Really?

The fact that you think your behaviors have no consequences in this respect is a deeply irresponsible and immoral position to hold. I sincerely hope you become more self reflective in the future.

It is sad how little some people understand about human emotion, or how hard they try to look away.

First of all, I didn't say that. Secondly, I'm not society. Thirdly, assuming all suicides by trans people are solely because of people shunning them is unjustified.

It is immoral to blame me for the deaths of people without justification.

A sane person doesn't kill themselves because of how I feel about their lifestyle. Something is wrong if I have that power over them.

You do understand you are a part of society? Your words and your actions contribute to the atmosphere of society. Your thoughts and opinions sway elections, have an impact on discussion, and set the mood. The opinion you have of transpeople is absolutely unhealthy for them. You obviously dislike them and you voice your disdain. You are adding to the the ostracization of that group of people.

"Sane" people can certainly be pushed to suicide. Look at kids being bullied. People feeling that they are not accepted by society. People who feel pushed away and demeaned. People being told they are perverted, going to hell, are mentally unstable, or are being hated for who they are.

You are trying really hard to rationalize to yourself that your words are meaningless and hold no weight. Isn't that a strange argument against yourself? The fact is your words do have power. They do create emotional reactions. They do chip away at someone's self esteem and self worth. You should know that by now and I believe you do.

No I don't! Quit assuming things.

Instead of thought police lets worry about what people do. I don't shun them, I don't tell them they are evil or stupid, I don't deny them any service, I will fight for them if they are abused physically or verbally, I don't hate them or dislike them. I don't tell them ANY of those things. You assuming I do and that I am a cause of their suicide is immoral and disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself.
