From the responses I guess that putting Patranus/Zendari on one's ignore list IS a smart move. vBulletin doing what fusetalk couldn't... making the oft banned trolls finally GO AWAY...

Now that is what I call a failure to communicate.... AND a very good use of technology!!

Its so funny to read some of the comments in this thread and then compare them to the comments in that "other" similarly titled thread.

Two mistakes treated completely different ways. Not only that but the video was edited to cover for the mistakes. Too bad they didn't catch it in the transcript.......

The act of editing a video is "very intention" according to that "other" thread...

I wonder if NBC considers "Meet the Press" a news show or an opinion show :\

It's funny you can't tell the difference between intentional deception to push a POV and a gaffe.

Butthurt from here to eternity.

Gregory misspoke. Nixon wasn't impreached, he resigned in disgrace, the first and only president ever to do so. I'd think if Gregory's intention was to slam republican's he'd simply have stated the events as they occurred, which is more embarassing an indictment than the misstated event. After all, Clinton remained in office anyway, was impeached over a bj, and 60-70% (depending on polls) of citizens said he never should never have been impeached. The majority of citizens did feel Nixon should have resigned or else been impeached, and that was without even knowing the full extent of his crimes.

Per google I also don't see this story even on Fox News, only on the Hannity forums. Why isn't fox all over this "story" of liberal bias?

How do you know it wasn't on purpose? He made the statement TWICE.
Furthermore, why was the video on the website edited to remove the comments.

Funny how anything a liberal does is a mistake but if a conservator does it, it was an "intentional deception".

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Your argument would be stronger had you picked an example that was actually newsworthy. Some guy, 30+ years after the fact, saying that Nixon was impeached when he actually resigned prior to the vote isn't newsworthy.

I saw this movie one time, I think it was called "The Sting" or something like that. In the movie the mob boss, well, he thought one thing was going on when it was really another and ......

Never mind.

Neither is accidentally using the wrong footage during a segment on an opinion show.

Then again, since the all mighty John "Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz" Stewart didn't say it, it must not be important.

Keep up the hypocrisy.
