My wife has bought the first four seasons on DVD, and they happen to be cluttering up my DVD changer all the time. I'm afraid to think about how much more 5-10 are going to cost.

There is absolutely nothing subtle about about that show, especially not the bits that are allegedly funny. In fact, I have to say the supposed humor is completely opposite of understated.

Watch an episode of Blackadder, starring Rowan Atkinson, written by Ben Elton and then we'll talk funny.

Considering I've watched Cheers since I was a kid and Frasier since day one, I'd say that I'm pretty atuned to its humour. As for Blackadder, never heard of it. I know Mr. Bean though.
