nba2k10 help please!

Hey guys I just got nba2k10 for my ps3 and after installing the available patch I enter the game and there is absolutely no sound. No music, no sound effects but the rest of the game seems to work. I tried deleting the saved files and d/l again that didn't work. Tried rebooting the ps3 that didn't work. The ps3 is up to date. What can I do? Is it possible that the copy is messed up???
