Hooray for the Mavericks! Maybe Dirk can make it for Game 6. Glad Finley stepped it up tonight - with Dirk out someone needed to.

Ok let me ask - how is it a choke when San Antonio fails to score any real points in the 4th quarter, but it's a solid, San Antonio victory when the Mavs choke in the 4th? I can pull up the points scored by the Mavs in the 4th quarter of all 3 games they've lost if anyone wants to disprove me. It's sad when you guys can't even give credit where it's due

Man...Dallas has got some balls...and now I wouldn't be surprised if Dirk came back next game. Horrible job on SA's part to take care of their advantage.
But all in all, I would find it pretty unlikely for Dallas to win 3 games in a row.

Nets will whoop em in the finals.
Dallas as too many good outside shooters... they'll be a pain in the ass to guard

I predict the Mets will beat the Spurs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.Originally posted by: LeeTJ
IF spurs manage to beat dallas and meets the mets in the finals they had better to a better job of holding the lead. . .

For all you Nets bandwagoners (not LeeTJ obviously he is a Nets fan thru and thru), NJ is not as good as the Spurs or Mavs. Sorry, but the Eastern conference is weaker. That doesn't mean they can't win the finals, just that I find it highly unlikely.
Of course, THATS why they play the games!

The Mavs shouldn't play Nowitzki if he risks more damage. There's zilch chance that the Mavs will beat the Spurs 3 in a row, so Nowitzki's future is more important. If this knee thing becomes a chronic injury, then his value as a player is seriously compromised. Besides, it's fun to watch the underdog Mavs scratch and claw to a victory.

I've been rooting for them for a long ass time now.. I'm a bandwagoner ?
SA does look real strong .. blowing how many leads already during the playoffs..
and you do realize Nets are the underdogs.
AM I ROOTING FOR THE SPURS ?

It's only 2 games, 1 at a time.

Home Court Advantage
Player Of The Year
3-1 series lead
Everyone's favorite to win
The other team's best player, and two of their centers, are out with injury giving SA a HUGE advantage inside.
What is your point? SA choked, plain and simple.

What's 2+1? Oh, wait a sec. it's 3! That mean Dallas in total has to win 3 in a row.
i'm just kiddin' around. I know what you're meaning to say.
I think NJ would have a better chance vs San Antonio than they would vs Dallas.

I dunno. It's been a while since my statistics course. Do you take into account what has already happened to calculate the probability?
On another topic: Will the Spurs recover as they did in Game 2? Or will this have long term demoralizing effects?

What's yours? The Mavs played a hard fought game...San Antonio didn't play like they usually do, even with a 19 point lead. The Mavs haven't played their A game in a single game this series....it's only the Spurs fan that think the Mavs had no chance at winning. Whatever, it's like arguing with iisekii that the Nets are going to lose in the finals![]()
