Nah--I think it be easier taking the Kings than the Wolves. We get owned on Wolves court--and they'd have homecourt advantage.Originally posted by: Reliant

The only reason I'm rooting for the Kings is because it'll make it easier on the Lakers.
The toughest match for the Lakers is the Kings, not the other way around.
Did you forget the Kings also took the season series 3-1? No one remembers that at all. The Kings even beat the Lakers at the end of the season when the Lakers were making that 14-3 streak. Bibby always works the Lakers, Miller and Vlade defend Shaq better than anyone can, Malone's an easier matchup for Webber, etc. I could go on. The Wolves are new to all this, Garnett has been absent during parts of this series, Cassell is hurt, Wally isn't healthy, Hassell and Hoiberg can't be expected to keep up their play. The only reason the Lakers would want to see the Kings is because they'd have homecourt, not because of the matchups.
I wish people would stop dragging out the "wolves are new to this" argument. This is a different team than past years. They might as well being wearing different jerseys. Garnett is the MVP, he'll be fine. Wally hasn't played a significant role this year; the fact that he (and troy hudson) are hurt is irrelevent. And I don't see why Hassell and Hoiberg won't keep up their performance. They're both great shooters (especially Hoiberg) and they're often left open. Plus Hassell is one of the best defenders in the league.
Have you watched all this series? Being new is very important. KG has at times had the deer in the headlights look. That's why Cassell and Spree are so important, they're supposed to take over when he's like that. With Cassell being hurt things now heavily lean on KG, and at times he's not been ready. He's made bad passes, traveled, taken horrible shots in crunch time this series.
first off, the season series is during the regular season. no one gives a flying fvck about the regular season, it's all about the playoffs.
as for the inexperience of KG, what about Webber?!?!?!!? you're crazy if you think Webber is a better player because of his "experience" in big pressure games.
I never said Webber was better did I? Read it again. Webber doesn't have to be the man for the Kings to win. Check this series, in the Wolve's wins KG has been great, and in the King's three victories Webber has only had one great game. The Kings can win without Webber playing well, the Wolves can't win without KG playing great.
