Nah it was worse, they chose Kendrick Perkins over Harden. Then the cap went way up so they could have afforded to keep everyone anyways lol. Cheap ass ownership costing OKC a dynasty.

Presti won't make that mistake again with the young core. Even if he decided not to pay Giddey, they have so many draft picks to add depth for cheap. Maybe CP3 will ring chase for the veteran's minimum.

Yeah makes no sense to poke the bear when you're down your best player, and forced to rely on James Harden to defy his personal history of wilting in the playoffs. I LMAO'd earlier when they showed a graphic of RWB having a great net rating while shooting 28% for the series. I think Reggie was crowing about Westbrook's high energy impact. :tearsofjoy:

Have to admit the Mavs look really good in the third quarter; I already turned it off.

Doncic is still moving like crap which makes me think they won't have much of a chance against OKC. But love seeing the Clippers go down in flames; only way I could ever root for them in any game would be if Trump owned the other team. :tearsofjoy:

I wouldn't complain, dude is cursed. Felt the same way when the Spurs signed McGrady like what horrible way is this season going to end, and the season couldn't have ended any more painfully than how it turned out.

80% Luka drops 35/7/10 while the Beard lays yet another playoff turd? What an embarrassing performance from the entire Clips team. Harden still thinks he can land a near max contract? :tearsofjoy: OKC is super young, so I'm not ready to say they'll move onto the WCF.

I have no problem with any free agent going wherever he pleases; more power to David West and others like him who just wanted to win before retiring. Also CP3's last chance to be a teammate of LBJ.

Game Harden 5 putting up a vintage Game 5-7 Harden performance. He'll get the contract he wants from Balmer though with them opening up a new building next year.
 
The Knicks/6ers game is one of the best NBA games I've seen in a long time. It was just highly entertaining and the energy in that game was just up there the entire time.
 
Lakers fire Darvin Ham after two seasons. They'll almost certainly target Mike Budenholzer, although the Clippers Ty Lue is at the top of multiple lists. :tearsofjoy: I like Lue, but "what have you done for me lately?"

Maybe as a Plan B if Paul George unexpectedly leaves (where would he go?). If George signs a max deal, I don't know that they want to overpay Harden and set up salary cap hell for another 3 seasons. Overpay is all relative; something like $27M/yr would be market value LOL. I hope Clips home games in the new gym will remain cheap.

Best advice I heard today was enough thinking you know what will please LeGM. At this point, just ask him and Klutch what they want and do it.

THey should have kept Ham for 1 more year and then went after TyLue. Ballmer aint gonna fire TyLue and gift him to LeGm and the Lakers.
 
Another fun win for the Nova Knicks. Jalen Brunson is a bad man. He obviously doesn't fit the prototype of an NBA superstar but he's been playing like one so far.

Must win game 2 for the Nuggets. Rudy Gobert decided to take the night off.
 
So anyone want to still argue Gobert is the DPOY while his teammates have completely shut down the Nuggets offense? God I can't imagine the Spurs defense if Wemby had Ant, Jaden McDaniels, Kyle Anderson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Naz Reid next to him instead of defensive turnstiles like Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson, and Malaki Branham.
 
I didn't know how annoying Knicks fans were until this year. They are acting like they won the Super Bowl after ever Knicks first round victory, and now after their first second round victory.

My Dallas Stars came back against the Knights after losing the first two games so not sure how much stock I would put in his prediction. But coming back after 0-2 start is a pretty rare feat.

Chuck is great for entertainment value, but half the things he says are obvious. At least he isn't comatose and dumb like Shaq. When Chuck does March Madness, his go-to line is University of So-and-so "will win because they're the better team." It'd be interesting to know what Chuck said going into the series? When the playoffs began, I didn't trust the Wolves at all but they're playing elite ball right now.

Hockey is way different, with a lot more chance and bouncing puck involved. Those type of comebacks are more rare in the NBA. Also as noted above, the Wolves are playing championship level defense right now. I'm not saying they'll go all the way, but Nuggets will have to solve that D 4 games out of 5. I don't know what the betting markets say, but that's maybe 15% at best.
