Ben Wallace refused to enter a game this year.
He refused to play for a completely different (and some what valid reason) compared to Miles.
In retrospect, he knows he made a mistake. It wasn't the way to send the message he was trying to make.

is basketball a team sport?

Then why do they only play 2/3 of the team during 95% of the game?

My first year on the junior varsity basketball team, there were a couple games I never got to play in. Our team would be getting blown out by 30 points at half time and they'd keep the starters in the whole second half.

There's no such thing as a team sport. It's only afreaking sport for the guys who are on the court....the rest just have really good seats.

Lol - uhm NBA != JV
They're out to win games, not to make sure everybody gets a chance to wave to mom & dad from the court.

bahahaha

The NFL definitely has plenty of players that are "immature wannabe thugs."

Knowing the Knicks, they will probably trade Channing Frye, David Lee, and 10 unprotected picks, plus 2.5 billion dollars for Darius Miles.

It is, but apparently he didn't get the memo.

Nope. Basketball is a team sport, but NBA basketball is not.

See the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs for some decent team basketball
