I think a Heat/Suns series would be absolutely nutty. Detroit has had the Suns number this year so they would probably win. Mavs would be exciting too.

Heat-Suns would be incredible. Both are one step closer since they both won game 1.

I think it's safe to say after last round that game 1 is hardly an indicator of how the rest of the series will go. I recall New Jersey winning game 1 in Miami and detroit blowing out the cavs.

Anyway if det is going to win the series they will do it with defense.

see, that's the difference between Heat fans and Pistons fans. we don't go crazy after one game. this is a team that's gone to the ECF's for four straight years, the NBA Finals twice in that span and won a title.

one game doesn't define the series.

the Heat are playing well and the Pistons are in a slump......but, dude, there a LOT more basketball to be played, lol.

wow...I didn't know you knew all the Heat fans...😕
stop talking in the past and talk in the present...nobody but the Piston fans care that you've won 1 championship. Toot your horn when you've won a bunch like Chicago, The Lakers, Boston, etc.

One game doesn't define a series is true...but I'm realistically looking at how your team is playing NOW and what deficiencies you currently have. I'm not going crazy after game 1...I'm just enjoying the victory as you probably would have too if the Pistons would have won. You lost though...and a home lost too...that didn't happen much during the regular season..but has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. So correct me if I'm wrong..you lost a total of 4 times at home ALL YEAR...but twice in the last couple of weeks. Slump...oh yes...big time.

Sheed's hurt and your offense is sucking...those are facts. The Heat are healthy and their offense is pretty damn good right NOW...I think they shot like 55+% in game one no?

Anyway...like the '06 Heat Motto...NO EXCUSES...let's get it on in game 2.

lol, you know i'm just teasing.

anyways, i expect the Pistons to come out much more relaxed this game.

2:15 until game time!!!!

Pistons off to a great start.....finally showing a balance of scoring and defense.

Flip going to his bench early and often.

didn't prince just catch his own pass?

i didn't see anyone touch the ball before him. it should have been a travel before the foul.

that play was weird. shoulda been a foul on anderson....or a travel on prince.... neither was called.

FINALLY we're seeing Detroit playing like they did all season long. defensive plays. easy buckets. hustle plays. bench contribution.

whew.......hope they keep it up.

halftime. pistosn up 48-37. after a little slump, they finish strong. Ben has been all over the place. he got the last block on Wade and then the assist to Rip's 3pter.

rule is if the player makes an attempt at a shot, he can catch it even if it doesnt hit anything. what counts as a shot attempt is left to the refs to interpret.

Good luck Heat with the 2nd quarter. Even if we lose this game, doesn't bother me. I just worry thta if the Pistons take another series to seven games that they are going to be running on fumes in the championship.

very nice. miami's the team that looks old and tired now.

as long as the pistons push, miami has a tough time keeping up.

Sounds like Jcuadrado is a little concerned. Guess we will just have to beat the Heat in our slump, and head to the championship games again. Its funny how you diminish what the Pistons have accomplished in the last few years. Now they need to win a handful of rings to be even given any credit? Please. Everyone guns for the Pistons, including you. For your sake I hope Wade sprains his ankle so he has an excuse.

Man that could have been a huge boost going into the 4th if Shaq could have converted that, but butterfingers couldn't.

hello there...hoping for an injury to the best player in this series is rather low...kinda moronic if you ask me...but it is Detroit-like so I don't put it past you.

I'm not concerned whatsoever..I don't live and die basketball...I expected the Pistons to win tonight...I like to talk a little smack for fun just like everyone else.

Heat shot a horrible game tonight.... 42%...you guys didn't do all that much better at 44% so don't go jumping for joy so quick. Nice defense on your part but your offense still sucks...the Heats just sucked more tonight.

I expected a split...now it's down to Miami where the beautiful women roam the streets...bikini models all over the place.

God I love Miami!!!! Good night peeps...see you on Saturday night! 🙂

Whatever, I don't want to see any Miami players actually get injured, because I am tired of the excuses for the last season. However, for your sake...

WOW.

the refs were doing their share to hand Miami a win. Sheed fouls out on a clean block. Chauncey gets mugged on an inbounds play. Tayshaun calls a timeout , but Bavetta "couldn't hear it".

that last stretch was unbelieveable.

bwahahaha...you're really comical...

nice little scare at the end there 🙂 What excuses? There are no excuses this time around...everyone is healthy!
