NBA Lottery FIXED?

Evidence of the NBA's being fixed would have been stronger if NY had gotten the first round.

I've never really trusted them after Orlando got 2 #1s in a row and last year's western conference finals.

If I had to bet on it I'd say it was. Remember a couple years back when they let a select few reporters in to watch the drawing? The ones who got in were so heavily scrutinized and legaly tied down as to what they could say it wasn't even funny. Plus the fact that they absolutely refuse to let it be seen by the public. Awful lot of trouble to go to if you're not hiding anything.... Especially considering the amount of speculation on this very topic. The nba could go a long way towards clearing up it's image of fixing (games/lottery/etc) if it would just let this be seen. So considering the fact that there's nothing but upside to letting people see it their refusal can be looked at as an admission of guilt imo.

Yep, you figured out a huge conspiracy here that nobody has ever found before. Congrats.

In addition.. "oh god. shut up."

What's ironic is these people who think there's no such thing as a conspiracy are as stupid as the conspiracy theorists they bash. The just take it to the other end of the spectrum. Also in case it went over your head the nature of a conspiracy is secretive. Therefore amazingly enough people don't always find out about all conspiracies. Absence of proof is not proof of absence. Just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Also I'd like to see someone give one reason for why it shouldn't be shown. If there's nothing to hide why be secretive about it?

in the end it's gonna work out better for the Cleveland Cadavers anyway -- LeBron will pull a Danny Fairy/Stevie Franchise and force a trade to another team, and Cleveland will get something pretty good in return.

Sure. But do you realize that in the whole history of the draft lottery the team with the worst record (highest statistical chance) has only got the #1 pick twice? Please explain that one.

sure. it means it was about damn time that the scrubbiest team got the #1 pick again. again, if the lottery was really rigged, a big market team like ny would've gotten #1... since the nba would probably make more money that way.
