NBA: Do you like Tom Tolbert? (the guy who replaced Jayson Williams)

I hated Jayson Williams (the guy who allegedly shot that limo driver) when he was on NBC. He was a dork who made stupid jokes and was the only one laughing at them. I thought it was rather funny how they just stuck in Tom Tolbert after Williams left. No explanation, just inserted him in, and business as usual.

Anyways, I think Tom Tolert is real funny. He's got one of those "say anything" commentaries, that's actually smart (unlike Charles Barkley...another bonehead). As an NBA player, he was a scrub, but I think NBC has a keeper.

One of the funniest comments he made today was when he was talking about the 'youngins' with baggy jeans. He said, "I go into the store looking for size 40 jeans and some 17 year old is buying them. I'm like, hey, those are my jeans!" Cheesy, but funny, IMO.

The entire NBA on NBC halftime/pregame show thing sucks, I can't stand it. I just tune in for the games, and do something else at halftime. I love the TNT show with Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley though.

I do like Tom Tolbert though. Before he went back there to be on that stupid NBC thing, he co-hosted a radio show on a SF Bay Area radio station (KNBR), called Razor and Mr T. I used to listen to it some driving home.
