NBA 2003 Draft Re-visited

Lebron is unbelievable...I'd take him #1...I'd take him over any player in the NBA right now for that matter. As for Wade, he isn't far behind, he is great too. Wades gotta be in the top 10 players in the NBA easy...

Edit: Lebron averaged 27,7,7 in his 2nd year out of high school...WHO DOES THAT!?

yes.

Not only is he a great player, he is a great advertising tool.

not only is he a great advertising tool, he is a great recruiter.

How many foreign players have panned out for the NBA? So many of the draft picks that beat out NCAA picks just seem to ride the bench. International play =/= NBA.

(I am not saying all suck. It just seems they get a lot of hype and high picks like Darko but rarely contribute.)

id pick LBJ
you cant teach size!!
and Wade is gonna be injury prone if he doesnt develop a outside shot

Advertising aside, LaBron makes Waaaay more from his endorsers than he'll make from the Cavs, he wouldn't have that money if he didn't play basketball well.

Wade did get the heat into the Conference finals.

Wade is amazing, but come on, he's had the luxury of shaq on his squad.
Lebron's 27/7/7 does it for me.

lebron's turning into kobe......shoots a ton....doesn't pass that much (he has capable team mates now....), his defense isn't as good....Honestly I think he was better all around his first season. Granted he has a few more years till he's as old as wade.....with lebron he got picked cause he was so young, and his skills surpassed his few years on this Earth.

I'd still take LeBron #1.

Also, LOL @ Pistons #2 pick 🙂

it's not darko's fault larry brown sat him

Exactly.

Anyhow, the only one that deserves to be dropped from the top 5 is Melo. And I would pick Bosh over Wade. Finding a 20/10 guy is much harder than a SG.

The one that hurts the knicks alot was the 2002 draft where they traded their pick along with Camby for Mcdyess 🙁 Could have had Amare 🙁

right now hes averaging 28.5/6/5 (ppg/rpg/apg)

still amazing, dont forget he isnt a hacker, and only averages 2.4 pf per game

your buddy Wade averages 3.1 pf per game.

lower ppg, and higher rpg/apg.
