LOL at "you're going to jail" comment. He beats up some old guy, 2 on 1, then tapes it while admitting to it, THEN uploads it to youtube.

I predict the old man gets a fine and the dumb evo owning prick gets jail time. :thumbsup:
 
Ugh - this is an ugly incident all the way around.

Speaking as a military veteran myself, I don't see the relevance of his military service. I don't think veterans deserve one iota of leniency or sympathy when they have committed crimes, unless they are suffering from PTSD or other combat-induced mental illness. God knows this idiot was not a WWII vet. This is sheer racist stupidity.

I don't support beating the crap out of him for painting a car but I can't fault the owner for doing it (especially if, as he claims, the painter was yelling racial slurs). At least he didn't kill him or inflict a life-threatening injury. The owner and his buddy are acting stupid on that video, but they're obviously pumped up by the situation and I doubt they would be talking that way without adrenaline flowing.

Bottom line: this video reflects poorly on everyone, but I see the Navy vet as the worst offender. There is no question none of this would have happened but for his racism. I appreciate that he is acting sorry, but he's doing it only after intentionally damaging someone else's car and getting a beating.

I wonder if this is a true story, or just an internet story. I googled "Vet gets face broken on Pearl Harbor Day for vandalizing Japanese car" and find the story on various forums, but not on any news pages.
We'll see.
 
One wonders whether he chose the Evo because it's made by Mitsubishi, who also brought us the Zero. It may have been dumb luck (or bad luck) that it was owned by a pugnacious Asian.

If it is real... wtf. 70 years ago... the Japanese got their asses kicked and now produce some of the world's most messed up porn.

But I agree with some of the others... the dudes doing the beatdown are going to be in more trouble than the dude doing the spray painting.

Threats of leaving him in a ditch or putting him in a body bag?

meh. i don't mind they beat the guy up. You don't mess with other people's property IF they had just stopped at that. the calling him a i love you and threats of killing him are wrong.

Well. The guy shouldnt have painted the car. The owner might be in deep shit for the ass whiooping. Also the owners a fucking idiot. Thats totally fixable and instead of acting the douche he should have been cleaning before it dried.

Do we know that the vandal KNEW the driver was ornamental, or was it just an attack on a Japanese car...a Mitsubishi...the company who made a significant number of the planes that attacked Pearl Harbor?

I'm Asian and from what I see in the video when the guy videoing it shows his own face... he doesn't have Asian features. So good job with your eyes.
