Heh I used to work on S3's when I was in the Navy and sometimes the planes would come back with a bird impression and blood on that radome.

Linflas - I've always wondered if it was safe to have the radar that close to you in planes? It like right between your legs.

They had radar absorption material on the bulkhead behind the dish and the radar also had a blanking area where it was not supposed to transmit when when the dish was pointing back towards the plane.

What is that civilian doing onboard an aircraft carrier? Must be one of those tech reps.
