Home for Christmas after nearly a year in the Middle East, Navy Reservist Paul Berkley was making up for lost time with his family.

By Sunday, the 46-year-old sailor was dead, shot once in the head during a walk in the park with his wife, Monique. She now stands charged with his slaying, along with two men ? her alleged teenage lover and her stepdaughter Becky?s boyfriend.

I guess they had a year to talk crap about him, as well as plan for his demise. I'd say that is a premeditated death penalty case, if there ever was one.

he was 46, and his wife was 26? that's no excuse, but come on... a 20 year age difference?
that usually ends badly.

It should never end this badly.

It amazes me the things people are capable of doing. It's called divorce. It may take a little more time but everyone usually lives.

he is 18 and she is 26. again, i am not excusing her behavior, but they were more suited in age than she and her husband.

the irony here is astounding.

1) he could have survived attacks in actual combat, and he comes home to get shat on by this BULLSH!T trailer trash.

2) he is over there doing his JOB which is to fight (for freedom - not going to get into that side of it but isn't that the consensus as to why they're there?) - freedom for them to stay back home and fsck around like his wife was doing.

horrible news.
