And the plot thickens......

The U.S. Navy has for the first time reportedly verified the authenticity of a series of three UFO videos leaked over the past two years and insisted the footage never should’ve been made public.

“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” Joseph Gradisher, spokesperson for the deputy chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare, told the Black Vault, a website dedicated to exposing secrets and revealing declassified government documents. The statement was later confirmed by Motherboard.

The military increasingly prefers the “UAP” phrasing over UFO.

Gradisher told the Black Vault that the term UAP “provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorized/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.” The website also reported that while the Navy now considers the footage “unclassified,” it has not yet been formally cleared for release to the public.

The footage caused a sensation when The Washington Post and The New York Times, among others, revealed that the video had been obtained and released by the To The Stars Academy Of Arts And Science, the private research and media firm co-founded by rocker Tom DeLonge, formerly of Blink 182.

In one video, two Navy pilots tracked an unidentified object flying off the East Coast in 2015.
Wow! What is that, man? Look at that flying!” one of the pilots said in the clip.

In another instance, an object called the “Tic Tac” ― because it was shaped like the candy ― was spotted descending from 60,000 feet to 50 feet in a matter of seconds off the coast of California in 2004. One pilot described a disturbance up to the size of a football field in the water at the same time.

And in a 2014 incident, a U.S. Navy Super Hornet pilot almost collided with an unidentified flying object during a mission near Virginia Beach.

Although the Defense Department had no comment about the videos at the time, Luis Elizondo, the former military intelligence official who led a government UFO program, said there was even more information out there that the public has not yet seen.

“My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone,” Elizondo, who is now part of the TTS Academy, told CNN in 2017.

In a Facebook post, the organization called Navy confirmation of the footage “another exciting day of progress for TTSA and our community of supporters.”

Well now I’m convinced. Sighted in 2015? Pretty sure that our new alien overlords took over Donald J. Trump and his family’s bodies in order to prep us for subjugation.

IMO the Navy or any of our other gov't agencies will only "confirm" leaked data of this nature if it's in the nation's security interests to do so.

Doesn't make sense most any other way.

Wasn't this already admitted a couple of months back? Please don't tell me that we're going to keep getting this shit posted over every few months because the Blink 182 guy is running out of money and needs to keep finding suckers to pay him to waste.

My bet is on it being intentional disinformation or even testing by our own military. By that I mean, they're seeing if our personnel will leak things, as well as test their ability to determine if our systems have been compromised (by overlaying crazy ass stuff like this at random times, to see if the pilots will be duped by it; perhaps they're even seeking to do that to enemy systems - imagine being able to fuck up their systems so it shows crazy shit, with maybe actual attack versions pushing dozens or maybe even hundreds of contacts doing shit that would overload their ability to process what's going on it'd be a great tool to create chaos; instead of stealth and cloaking you pull a magic trick by hiding by distracting them while you accomplish what you're looking to do; instead of taking their system down in the typical sense you use it against them to provide nonsense information that they have to sort through).

Plus the UFO shit provides them a cover story.

I think that, if intelligent alien life exists and has reached Earth, they would not be doing sporadic aerial maneuvers as their means of interacting with us.
Maybe it's like the prime directive in Star Trek- It's OK to study the primitives but you can't interfere or let them know you're there.

Probably not. I'm more than skeptical about any of it.

If this is real it just upped my chances of getting off this rock to 0.000000000000000000000001% ... which is an order of infinite higher than 0%..
Ill take it.
Screw you guys, I am going home.

These were all debunked AFAIK (as are most UFO claims):

Yeah but then you got the problem with the pilots actually saying that they witnessed it all happen.

That's why Trump is so bloated and stands so oddly.
He's actually a skinsuit worn by a very trollish race of aliens.
Melania is an android servant.
Ivanka is his breeding pair.
Eric is their pet rock.

Or...
Douglas Adams - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy said:
"Unfortunately I got stuck on the Earth for rather longer than I intended," said Ford. "I came for a week and got stuck for fifteen years."
"But how did you get there in the first place then?"
"Easy, I got a lift with a teaser."
"A teaser?"
"Yeah."
"Er, what is..."
"A teaser? Teasers are usually rich kids with nothing to do. They cruise around looking for planets which haven't made interstellar contact yet and buzz them."
"Buzz them?" Arthur began to feel that Ford was enjoying making life difficult for him.
"Yeah", said Ford, "they buzz them. They find some isolated spot with very few people around, then land right by some poor soul whom no one's ever going to believe and then strut up and down in front of him wearing silly antennae on their heads and making beep beep noises. Rather childish really." Ford leant back on the mattress with his hands behind his head and looked infuriatingly pleased with himself.

1. UFO =/= Extraterrestrial Flying Object. I find it irritating that when UFOs or UAPs are discussed people immediately jump right to ETs. Let's get the horse back in front of the cart. Jeebus, it hasn't even been established that these things are capable of FTL speeds.

2. No the videos haven't been debunked. I saw the debunkers' hypothesis about the UAP's speed etc. That's wrong. Aircraft Carrier's radar chief has publicly spoken about what they observed. He was the one that scrambled the jets to intercept the so-called "Tic-Tac".

We have very advanced radar systems these days. He was operating the SPY-1 system IIRC. We're up to SPY-6 afaik. This system has no moving parts, is modular and is spread across many of the ships in a carrier group. They're networked. It provides a 3d image and can identify a softball sized object at 18 miles away. That's just some of what we know, I would think its true capabilities are classified.

The radar officer claimed the object reached speeds of approx 100K mph and pulled about 1,350 Gs. Humans are only capable of about 8 Gs.

The object also flew into, and under water. He confirmed this by communicating with carrier group submarines that picked it up on SONAR.

He also said his radar showed a formation of about 100 of these crafts. I.e., they ain't experimental, they're operational.

I could add more, but it isn't ours. Somebody has technology that's about 2 generations or so ahead of us. (As confirmed by former head of Lockheed Martin's "Skunk works" location.)

We need to get this tech. We don't know the mass of object so we can't calculate the force neccessary to accelerate it, but I think safe to conclude that it's got one helluva power generation unit. And with no heat signature, there's no combustion etc.

Forget about ETs. There is no interstellar travel. Einstein's theory tells us this. I've seen theories on how we can get close to SoL ("c"), but they fail to take into account increased mass (we'd never be able to decelerate/stop) or time dilation.

100k per hour, in the atmosphere...and then under water?

If those stats are correct, and not just erroneous readings, then I don't see how it could be anything other than ETs... or Wakandan.

NB: ET doesn't mean some biological life. We're essentially trying to build non-biological life right now. If successful, it will far continue advancing far beyond anything we can realistically imagine.
