navigating the forums.

I was just wondering if there is a way to navigate to my exact post on a thread via a forum tool.

As it stands I have to navigate through the whole forum or memorize which page I posted on to see new posts on a thread.

Could you be more vague? 😉

The yellow star in the upper/lower right corner of each thread is the favorites icon. Once you add a thread to your favorites you can access them through the My Forums page, which is a button at the top of each page.

The My Forums page also has links to the last 20 threads you posted in (it doesn't link directly to your post, but you can just jump to the end and see what has been posted).
 
Hmm.... I am guessing there is no way to go straight to your post from your "previous posts" list.

Why would I want to navigate through a whole thread that I already read to get to my post?

I smell a forum upgrade... this current situation is a huge hinderence on my anandtech cybering.

Trust me, you don't smell anything. That has been a complaint probably since 1999.
