Navigating in the WinXP Setup Repair Console

I'm attempting to install WinXP now. I have already gone through copying the files from the CD to the HD, now when it boots up it goes directly to the Setup, then it asks me what do I want to do, there are 3 options. I choose Repair, as I need to copy some missing files. The only problem I have right now is that once you get inside the Repair Console, it's not exactly DOS. In DOS I know that if you want to go inside a directory you use the CD command (which also works here), in DOS if I want to get out (go backwards) I use CD.. But this command is not working in here, what command am I supposed to use instead?

take the cd out after the first reboot.

"cd .." means "up a directory"

hehe, you're right it's not DOS. It won't cut you any slack either.

The correct command has a space after CD and before the ..

CD ..

Should work fine

Dos will let you leave the space out. RC won't.
