It is directly on topic. Energy should be highly regulated, almost to the point of being Nationalized.

Corporations have clearly shown they cannot be self policed and trusted.

Well that would certainly be one way to stop them from making sound business decisions.

Good idea, I hear Venezuela is a paradise! Maybe you should move there.

I've offered to buy him a ticket to Somalia before since he wants the U.S.A. to be just like that shithole. Maybe I should switch my offer to Venezuela.

Dave? Same deal as before, just a different country. I buy the one way ticket and you promise never to set foot on U.S. soil again.

Natural gas isn't a scarce resource, with the current gas prices it cost too much to drill the wells.

The "scarcity" comes from the fact that neither you or I have the equipment, the man power, the capital, or time to find and drill a hole into the ground that contains a pocket of natural gas and extract it ourselves and then process it and finally transport it for whatever purpose we require. Thus scarcity isn't always due to actual quantity of a resource but it can be due to the difficulty in accessing it and bringing it to market for the consumer to purchase.

You first

I have no desire to leave. I love my country and wish it well, unlike you who have stated you want it to become like Somalia.

Most of us already live in the greatest country the world has ever seen, and don't feel the need for significant changes or to flee to another nation.

I have no desire to leave. I love my country and wish it well, unlike you who have stated you want it to become like Somalia.

Both completely untrue on your parts because you both support destroying the fundamental foundations of the country.

Hatred towards those that are not rich is not what America is about.

The non-rich are a gathering storm, they will see your kind exit this country so that they can re-build it after your kind have destroyed it.

Yes, that's good on their part.

Also not surprising since they have no big cities that have Social issues.

It's a mini Texas but without Houston and Dallas.
