"NATO reviews retaliatory action" Is this a good thing or a bad thing.

Do we want to have to report to NATO before we respond. Here is a link to the story.

the question is, should the US move unilaterally when we find out who did this, or should we go w/ NATO on this??

US is a member of NATO. THe point of NATO is to act as a group for these things. Yes the US should try and go along with NATO.

it is just standard procedure. Any attacks on a NATO participating nation is actually considered an attack on ALL NATO participating nations. If they didn't support us, NATO would be in jeopardy.

The right thing to do is to go along with Nato, because other countries follow Nato's advice as well. However, I don't see much positivity in this, if for some reason, they would justify sparing that bitch ass bin Laden and just taking him into custody... i prefer ripping off his balls and stuffing it into that towel he wears on his head

The most important thing is to bring the correct people to justice. Doing it through NATO helps acheive this and it helps to not make the US look like a bully in the process.

NO,NO,NO,NO! NATO will just get in the way and f*ck everything up!

NATO will be involved no matter what. The WTC has companies from dozens of nations all over the world. I am sure many nations have also lost citizens in this tragedy.

Agreed.

Even Korea seems to be very supportive. The government is outraged and there were Korean passengers in some of those hijacked planes. There were also Korean companies and government workers in the towers. I'm sure there are other countries with similar casualties.

This is NOT an attack on Americans alone. It affected Americans more than any other people in the world, but the entire world is concerned. JMHO.
