National vehicle history database goes live

carfax is $30 now? What a damned rip off.

They do a ton more than just title history though. Body shops report damage, service reports the work performed etc. etc.

Also title history is NUTTY expensive to buy from the states. I pinged state of michigan for a potential project of mine and they wanted 500K for a small subset of the data they own.
