I'm not talking just a "socialist handout", but from a combination of the power of government and the private sector.

Are people so lacking the vision to come up with SOMETHING?

Why can't a "poor person" instead of buying a new car purchase health insurance? Why should health insurance be free? It's a fvcking product created by capitalism, you have to buy that shvt. What next? Everyone should get national car insurance? Life insurance? JEBUS CRIPES move to Canada or Europe if you want "free" healthcare.

I don't know what poor people you know, but the ones where I live drive '85 Chevy Vans and Caprices and LeSabres that came from the dump. They aren't buying new cars, new clothes, or much else for that matter.

45 million Americans drive '85 Chevy Vans and can't afford clothes? I live in CA and after taxes I make in the $30k's and I value my health so instead of buying a new car or going out every night I choose to purchase health insurance. If I, a fvcking asian immigrant who came here with nothing can do it, anyone can.

Just look at the OP who claims to be losing his health insurance and has a $2000+ computer rig.

Poor people around here don't make $30K/year. Try <$10K, if they're lucky. I believe $30k is close to the median income in this country anyway. $30K isn't poor.

So 45 million Americans make $10K a year? You're probably one of those ignorant privileged whites who think everyone else is poor and makes $10K a year.

Way to racially stereotype, asshat. Just because you are racial minority in this country doesn't give you the right to proudly spout your bigotry.

And what are you arguing anyway? That no one is poor in America? Leave Orange Country and explore a little.

I know all you Democrats are secretly racist trying to keep us minority down. We will rise up and pwn all of you [racist democrat/socialist/elitests].
