National Guard Troops shot in DC

Two West Virginia National Guard troops were shot and in critical condition in DC. It's my considered opinion that this is exactly what Trump wanted by unnecessarily deploying Guard troops in DC to begin with. This tragedy gives Trump everything he needs to eventually declare Martial Law. Trump is using these Guard troops as bait to pursue his own personal agenda.

Those troops didn't need to be there to begin with. Their injuries are directly attributable to Trump's dubious use of NG troops that aren't trained as police officers, not specifically trained to lord over their fellow Americans. This shooting was completely avoidable and Trump should be held personally accountable for this.

Trump blames Biden, film at eleven.

Given how Trump's use of lies have been escalating on a daily/hourly basis and given his notorious habit of blaming his perceived enemies for his own fuck-ups, it's a safe bet to me.
tragedy? it should not happen but....

This incident hit me personally because I retired out of the Guard (mandatory age related) after serving well over twenty years there. And If Trump had called me up to be his personal sacrificial lamb just so he could further his own personal ambitions, my conscience would have compelled me to get out of the Guard despite how I really enjoyed being a part of that experience. That orange tinted cowardly draft dodger needs to be out there with the troops he's unnecessarily endangering in his name. He should be front and center, leading them by his example as the fierce superhuman genius CIC he's been passing himself off as. Out of curiosity, I'm wondering just how long he'd last out there fucking things up as usual.

I spent almost 30 years of my life working inside the Beltway -- in Washington DC. I remember expressing concern about DC crime back in the late 1970s. It was a myth. Everyone told me it was a myth. I soon realized this personally.

There was nothing in recent DC history or news that would compel a SANE president to deploy the National Guard.

The Afghan immigrant who had traveled all the way from Washington state would have had no reason to do so if the Guard had not been deployed. The perpetrator was not part of the "crime wave" for which Trump had put the Guard there. And as I said -- there was no crime wave.

How much longer can we tolerate this criminal in our White House? I cannot tolerate him and his entourage, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Those other Tenn. Guard troops are now thinking about which one of them are next up for being victims of Trump's wrongful use of their services. I really don't think they wanted to be there to begin with, surrounded by folks who also don't want them there. In many of the troop's minds the people of DC are now considered the enemy, out to kill these uninvited invaders from the south.

The families and loved ones of those surviving troops want their loved ones out of there. Shit got real in the worst way, and those soldier's lives are now more precious and precarious than it could ever be. I know for sure that many of those troops are thinking this isn't what they signed up for and for others, well they want revenge. This is how things go from "nice change of pace" to "I'm not going back in the streets until I get issued live ammo and the authority to play God on anybody whose looks I never liked" scenario.

And this is all on Trump. Will he take personal responsibility for putting those troops in harm's way? Hell no. Instead, he's going to hit the panic paranoia button and escalate the situation because this is what he wanted anyway. This is how he's built. Get tough using other people's lives to make himself feel good about the ultimate power he now possesses. The lives of the reinforcements he sends in is the least and last thing he's concerned about. And that attitude of his is what's going to spread more hatred and suspicion among the populace.

Great job at unifying the nation Donald. Great job at distracting from your own FAFO moments in your life.

A Guard member that was shot in DC has passed away. Again I ask, why isn't Trump taking personal responsibility for her death? He sent her there on his orders for nothing other than to play some political gamesmanship. She died because Trump wanted to foment unrest in the cities he's invading. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to have our Guard troops die so senselessly in that way.

It really bothers me that Trump will experience no guilt, remorse or mourning from being a direct cause of her death. Make no mistake about it, she absolutely did not die in the service of her country, she died in the service of Trump and he will turn her death into a political pitchfork and torch ceremony if he's invited to her funeral services.

While I would not blame trump for the shooting / death of the NG.

But
Trump did put blame on Biden for this

But trump is the one who granted him asylum

Also note the shooter did work for the CIA and his work did allow him to be brought over under biden

It's Trump's fault because he put these NG in DC in the first place for what was entirely a gross, political stunt and it was premised on actually fake narratives about crime in cities.
Sorry if I say this, but before knowing the perpetrator, I tought that was a False Flag operation to get an excuse to take more authoritarian measures, despite we know the author of the shootings, is still bugs me that reaction from Trump and the rest of the team. It was somehow different instead of a unified message

Reminder

President Trump has abandoned promises to protect those who risked their lives for the United States, blocking Afghans’ resettlement, and even attempting to deport them back to danger. Whether the suspension of the U.S. refugee program or the dismantling of the offices that support SIVs, IRAP opposes these egregious betrayals of U.S. allies and will continue to fight for their safety.”

Trump stops aid for resettlement after taking office
Trump’s executive order shortly after taking office in January suspending federal funding for resettlement agencies made it tougher to help refugees with basic necessities like food and rent handcuffing the mostly religious groups that help them.

The president, who has described Afghanistan as “a hellhole on earth,” already planned to review every Afghan who entered the country under Operation Allies Welcome and reiterated that goal after Wednesday’s shooting.

“If they can’t love our country, we don’t want them,” Trump said in a message released on social media, adding that the shooting was “a crime against our entire nation.”

Finally,
Trumps use of the National Guard was for the sole purpose of political incitement. These actions were done to prod and cause action on multiple levels.
What they wanted was to prod citizens into protest in order to incite violent response so that they can capitalize on both the propaganda content and legal maneuverings to justify increases in these obscene actions to delegitimize political opponents.
They probably didn't expect that a veteran of a US conflict would be the one to bring the response but you know that they are overjoyed in the fact that this happened as it s is multibird with one stone.
The attacker is Brown, Muslim , Refugee granted asylum and their goal is to end migration of people who impact the white Christian nationalist movements goals.
""I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover,""

Like every republican government before them, a few dead Americans are always worth pointless political goals.

Oh I no doubt putting the NG in DC is illegal

But we will not know for sure if the gunman would just have killed someone else

But I did read the gunman was frustrated with trumps actions

Trump is calling this crime a terrorist act. When CDC headquarters was attacked earlier this year and a cop killed not a mention from the White House.

What makes this a terrorist act and the CDC attack not?

The determining factor is whether or not the incident can be used politically. It’s not whether it or not the act itself was politically motivated but whether or not the incident can be used politically.

Trump is a moron.

The big picture has already been spilled and his family's/friends have already described the guys behavior for that past couple of months.

Anyone who has treated veterans knows exactly what's going on and see these cases all of time.

This guy is a veteran and was on the US side. The difference between this guy and the average veteran going through the same thing is that US mikitary veterans have access to treatment through the VA system.

Our assets do not. Trump has spend all year slashing benefits to military veterans but when it comes to people like this guy, Trump has been taking away EVERYTHING that we've promised as well as demonizing them.

This would never have happened under any other President.
The Trump regime created this and have done everything to force an event like this.

Terrorism is also defined as using violence to a political end which was the case at the CDC. Compare the 2 cases including the victims and the shooters.
