National Geographic's Genographic study

This is just a ploy by a wing of the PNAC to generate a database of every American citizen's DNA. Don't fall for this garbage.

ya. ya might find out your paranoid.

I think this would be really exciting for people with "interesting" histories (ie Europeans, Africans etc). I really doubt that my ancestors came from anywhere but SE Asia. I am interested enough to check it out though. I hope I don't get a map back that shows a migration of 100 miles.

great stuff. I think I will try it out. It's exciting how new technologies can help us learn more about ourselves and our past.

The only thing I'm hesitant about from reading the sample report, is how general it is. I'm sure most people will get a variation of the same report. I'll be interested in finding out if anyone have any surprises.

Won't pretty much everyone's report show ancestors migrating from africa?

EDIT: Changed "Wont" to "Won't"
