Edit: I actually work with one of these the-earth-is-6000-years-old freaks. It's true, there gets to be a point when no amount of scientific explanation will reach a person. He actually posed an argument that I hadn't heard before -- God created the earth 6000 years ago, but he created it *with age*. I just didn't know what to say...
