IMPORTANT BUTT UPDATE: Word from a trusted source close to the production who would know is: the part where you can see Natalie’s face (the banner pic) is all Portman, they only used the stunt double for the part where she dives into the water (here), because pshaw, son, an Oscar-winning actress ain’t gonna dive into no cold-ass Irish water.

I would assume the actual movie will show the thong. the trailer might be a little much if they are showing it during times of day where kids can watch. I mean it's basically bare ass and she's not wearing anything on top either. I'm not a prude, but there really isn't a reason for young kids to see this.

You should see the public billboards in pretty much..all of Europe. Also the coffee ads on TV. ...also the ~8pm public access phone sex ads in Northern Italy (basically--porn. why even call the number?)

They didn't "decide later" to cover her up. They used CG to put a bottom on the undies for the non-Redband trailer (the one for general audiences).

Also from what I've read it is her when she is standing there, just not her when she dives into the water.

Actually, I didn't... the original came out before I was born, and I have never even heard of it. Also, "has potential" is a phrase that I've used for movies that have ended up being utter garbage... kind of like Sucker Punch .
