Nasty...stomach virus

My sister's boyfriend stayed over last night, and while he was here he started throwing up. He threw up all night, and his roommate was sick last week, so we think it's a stomach virus. I already put all his dishes in the dishwasher, and I cleaned off the counters with Clorox Clean-Up. My sister scrubbed her bathroom and threw out the garbage pail he was puking in.

Is there anything else I can do to make sure I don't get sick? This is so nasty.

Haha, I know...I'm such a germophobe. Actually, that episode (the germophobe one) of Seinfeld was on TBS last night.

Was the sheets he slept on, spray all surfaces he touched with lysol, or wipe them down with a mix of 10/1 water/clorox bleach. spray carpets with lysol spray.

Wear a surgical mask and sterile surgical gloves all this week and next. 😀 😉

I would be spraying the area with lysol including door knobs which can get ALOT of people sick.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention...the sheets he was sleeping on will be washed shortly, in HOT water.

Will do, thanks for the tip.

/runs to kitchen cabinet for Lysol.

Keep your hands away from your mouth/eyes. I know that sounds obvious, but some of us have to make a real effort not to tap on our teeth or bite our fingernails. 😛

Before you eat, always wash your hands w/ hot water and soap, and try not to touch anything else before you get to your food. Again, pretty obvious.

I've had a stomach virus before, definitely no picnic.
