As a background, I have a mutt who looks like a white 50-pound german sheperd. We have a small backyard, which is fenced in, and I put a doggie door in the backdoor so she can come in and out as she pleases. Yesterday morning I noticed her running around the backyard, have a good time and acting excited. A little later that morning, she comes in with her catch of the day. It was a rabbit head, with part of the torso and a leg attached. I don't know where the rest of the rabbit is, but I assume she either ate it, or buried it somewhere. She has also found a few mice, and brought a bird in the house once. My old cat which is now dead used to bring mice and birds to us as presents a bunch also. What presents have your pets brought for you before?

my parents dog has a love of hunting birds. He has caught 4 in the last year, from what they tell me. It is a hoot to watch him chase them in the backyard though.

Cat brings in Mice quite often. Sometimes alive and starts throwing them around the living room showing off.

Latest find was a fair sized Rat, in the back Garden, which I found when I stepped on it. :disgust: Nice squelching sound that made...

I had a pomeranian who died earlier this year. She had a very nice, long beautiful coat that needed daily attention. Occasionally, if her "butt hair" got too long (I cut it on a regular basis), she'd bring me all kinds of Klingon treats, if you know what I mean. It's not really something you can clean up--just have to cut it and let em go with a bald butt for a while. Heh.

Girlfriends cat...

1 - mole
3 - baby snakes (one a day for 3 days)

This cat never goes outside, so all of this stuff managed to get in the house somehow.

We have a lot of feral cats around our house. Not "inside" the house, since our dogs weren't inside dogs at the time, but an unfortunate live (for a brief period) cat with its entrails hanging out... shovel took care of that quick.
Two Great Danes tossing a cat back and forth.
Lots of stupid baby squirrels that fall out of the trees.

our dogs like to partially eat gophers (they don't come in the house, though). we used to have a cat that left pieces of rats, mice, and birds all over the porch & back yard.

I used to have an Irish setter that would bring home chickens from the farmer's place down the road when I just a kid. He brought home a chicken a day for over a week. At one point my father actually beat the stupid dog with a dead chicken to no avail. Finally the farmer tried to shoot my dog... That worked! He wasn't hit, but that stupid dog never went down that road to the farm again. Guess he decided it wasn't worth dying over.

Then there's the squirrels. My stupid dog ate one once... alive. It (the squirrel) screamed for a little while. Then the damned dog wanted to lick me after it ate the squirrel! Stupid dog! Squirrels hated him after that.

Then there was my cat. Let's see. She disemboweled our pet parakeet. She would dismember lizards, moles, birds, mice, and leave there various parts inside and outside the house for us to find. One time she was playing with a mouse's head like it was a toy ball.

I don't have any pets, anymore.

My cat, Uncle Jack, has come in the house after being sprayed by a skunk, has brought live birds in several times and let them go, took live mice up to my parent's garage and let them go unharmed (*whistling* No, Mom, I have no idea why you have a problem with mice in the garage *whistling*), caught lizards and brought them in for inspection, and barfed up various internal organs from god knows what beast, along with mucus covered dry cat food, on the carpet several times. We love him.
