Yep, even to this day i consider it one of the best racing sims ever created.
Its amazing how satisfying it can be just to finish in the top 10 on some tracks.

Haven't played in a while though, my G25 has been collecting dust since Skyrim came out.

Does this still have a large community playing? I used to play the shit out of NASCAR Heat back in the day, and haven't found a decent NASCAR game online since.

Yeah, the community is still making mods, tracks, cars ect.

I am not sure about online play as I always just play against the AI, which is really good.

You can adjust how fast the AI runs and what percentage of a race you wish to run.

I still rue the day I walked past the bargain bin with at least 5 copies of this game for under $10 each.

But how could I have known they would sell for hundreds now?

Yeah, the game still sells for a hefty price on e-bay.
