Best guess is that Mrs. Skoorb works near the track and if it was held over she'd have a terrible time getting to/from work because of traffic.

i'm guessing the Skoorbs must live near the Talladega Speedway, which is probably a traffic nightmare when the races are going on, thus causing MrsSkoorb to not have to go to work??????

Good guesses, but in actual fact a co-worker of hers was at the race today and if it was rained out, that co-worker was going to instead watch tomorrow, in which case mrsskoorb would cover for her 🙂

DEI=Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, a race team. Their two main drivers, Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr, always dominate at Daytona and Talladega.

I don't like them because everyone in the world is a Jr fan, and because no one else can seem to win at those two tracks.

I liked the fact that Gordon went up to those fans throwing the cans and did a burnout right in front of them. He said he was trying to see how many cans he could send airborne with his back tires.
