Why is it that in this game i cant seem to get the keyboard to work as a controller? In many past Papyrus racing sims, ive always been able to use the keys to drive/control the car and now i cant for the life of me figure out where this is hidden in-game.

I can however set up a game controller just fine but in a driving game such as this, i dont think my Gravis Gamepad pro works very precicely when steering the car etc.

Anyone else have a prob trying to set up the keyboard as a controller device in Nascar 2003?

Also, the default car setup pulls incredibly hard to the left and it will not center the car down a straight stretch of track... i constantly have to turn right to make the car go straight! I know for a fact that my gamepad is calibrated properly too.. just another annoying quirk i guess <sigh>

Any suggestions are much welcomed!

I'm not sure why your keyboard won't setup correctly, i've never tried it. But the pull to the left is normal for Stock cars, does seem strange huh, it's due to the camber and such. You can clear that pull up by clicking the Advanced button on the Controls screen and raising the Steering Linearity. There are also options there to smooth it out for keyboards or game pads.
