According to a NASA video during Friday's successful Orion space capsule test launch, they're planning to save quite a bit of weight by using touchscreen "on glass" virtual control switches inside the Orion command module. I'd be interested in learning more about this, such as: what exact GPU specifics are being used (in the prototype equipment, at least), what type of backup equipment & redundancy, cosmic ray & vibration protection, etc.
Anyone know of public web links?
Note: the first manned Orion launch isn't scheduled to happen until 2021, so I guess all that kind of detail is subject to revision.
