<< that stuff looks so damn cool. I want a small cube to put on my desk. >>

NASA should market the stuff :) Just think: Iridescent "frozen smoke" paperweights (uh, yeah), doodads, and sculptures...

They might weigh less than the paper........:) They would have to market it with an attachable base so you can have it stay in place. Wouldn't it be very easy to damage?

They could fund a manned mission to mars if they marketed it right :)

I would be one of the first in line if it wasn't outrageous.

I'd buy it for $15 if istallion finds a place that sells it.

Evadman: Those suppliers look like they'll just send you a chunk of the stuff. The pic of the guy with the cube, however, illustrates the possible artistic potential. Visit any tourist trap anywhere in the world and what do you see on the shelves in all those little shops? Sculptures and figurines of all types, made of glass, wax, pewter, whatever.. That's the market I'm thinking of..

<< Wow, that's really cool, and I don't doubt that it exists, but doesn't it just look incredibly fake to you? I mean, those pics look like simple photochopping jobs. Some sort of effect. >>
