It is totally gross. That was exactly my response to the doctor when he told me.
"Gross."
But it's gotta get done, I'm afraid.
but even after all i had done to my nose didn't take long to recover. the worst part was getting the packaging pulled out of the sinus cavity latter.
This.
All that shit draining out really sucks.
Eww gross.
But then again, that may also be what I dug out of my nose a couple years back too...
If it's anything like those stringy boogers that are attached to the very back of your sinus as you pull the tissue away from your nose and feel it snake through on the way out...
Ugh. :hmm:
I wouldn't know. If someone where to eat such a thing, I'd imagine it would taste a good bit like blood, given how many tissues were used to stem the flow there. How'd it taste?
I had something probably similar. Worst part #1 is that your throat will feel like absolute shit for having a breathing tube in use down your throat for that long. Worst part #2 is if they stuff your nasal canal with gauze to limit bleeding for a couple days after. By the time they remove it you have been tasting blood since the anesthesia wore off and it's probably starting to wear out and you can feel it sliding down the back of the canal hanging into your throat.

That was a gold nugget. You should have kept it.But then again, that may also be what I dug out of my nose a couple years back too...
oh yeah, almost forgot about that. last couple of times the packing was relatively losely attached and I forgot about the removal. the first time the guy litteraly had to get vise grips and pull my nose inside out to yank what he used to attach them with.
Dude wtF is wrong with your nose...lol

Thanks. Removing chunks of flesh from inside my nose was indeed epic. This thread is now about SunnyD's epic nose nuggets.
the polyp surgery is far less painful than the deviated septum surgery.
